Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and analyze grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate sources
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports tailored to funder requirements
- Collaborate with program staff to gather compelling data and impact metrics
- Manage grant application pipeline and ensure timely submission of all materials
- Maintain relationships with funders through regular updates and stewardship communications
- Track grant outcomes and prepare comprehensive impact reports for stakeholders
- Stay current on funding trends and compliance regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with 80%+ success rate
- Proven track record securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Expertise in federal grants (SAM.gov), foundation research (Foundation Directory), and corporate giving
- Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex programs into accessible narratives
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management software (e.g., GrantHub)
- Detail-oriented project manager with ability to meet strict deadlines
