Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue federal, state, and private grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications exceeding $1M annually
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation representatives and funding partners
- Manage grant reporting processes ensuring compliance and stewardship
- Analyze program outcomes and impact metrics to strengthen future proposals
- Collaborate with program teams to develop project budgets and narratives
- Maintain accurate grant tracking database and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of proven grant writing success with $500K+ secured annually
- Expertise in federal, state, and private grant applications
- Exceptional writing skills with portfolio of funded proposals
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and outcome measurement
- Experience with CRM and grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, GrantStation)
- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder relationship management
- Knowledge of Arlington's nonprofit funding landscape preferred
