Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals tailored to funder priorities and program goals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders
- Prepare grant budgets and financial reports ensuring compliance with funding requirements
- Coordinate with program staff to gather necessary data and impact metrics
- Manage grant application calendar and submission deadlines
- Track grant outcomes and prepare reports for funders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising principles and compliance
- Proficiency in grant databases (e.g., Candid, Foundation Directory)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
