Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from 15+ federal, state, and private funding sources
- Develop persuasive narratives and budgets for 8-10 complex grant proposals monthly
- Manage existing grant portfolio of $5M+ in active awards with 95% compliance rate
- Lead cross-departmental collaborations to gather programmatic data and impact metrics
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and reporting systems for 30+ active funders
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance requirements
- Analyze funding trends to diversify revenue streams and reduce funding volatility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $500K+ secured annually
- Proven success with federal grants (HRSA, SAMHSA) and private foundations (e.g., Robert Wood Johnson)
- Expertise in healthcare, social services, or public health grant landscapes
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (Nonprofit Cloud) and grant management software
- Exceptional ability to translate technical medical data into compelling impact stories
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful $1M+ grant awards
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and compliance monitoring
