- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications with measurable outcomes
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant compliance reporting and stewardship activities
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Maintain accurate grant tracking database and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit funding landscape and compliance
- Experience with federal grant applications (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in CRM and grant management software
