Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue federal, state, and private grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports with 95%+ funding success rate
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant pipeline and submission deadlines using Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate with program teams to translate impact data into fundable narratives
- Maintain compliance with funder requirements and grant stewardship
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years proven grant writing experience with $500K+ secured annually
- Portfolio demonstrating successful federal/state/private grant applications
- Expertise in budget development and grant financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
