Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports exceeding $500K annually
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and foundation representatives
- Coordinate cross-departmental teams to gather programmatic and financial data
- Manage grant pipeline and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Conduct post-award reporting and impact evaluation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with 501(c)(3) organizations
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Expertise with federal grants (SAM.gov, Grants.gov) and private foundations
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio demonstrating complex proposals
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce or CRM systems
- Deep knowledge of El Paso's nonprofit landscape preferred
