Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications tailored to funder priorities
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and success stories
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain compliance documentation
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and funding partners
- Analyze funding trends and adapt strategies to maximize success rates
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and grant management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with demonstrated success
- Portfolio of secured grants totaling $1M+ in funding
- Expertise in researching diverse funding sources (government, private, corporate)
- Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong project management abilities with attention to detail and deadlines
