Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private foundation grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop compelling grant proposals with persuasive narratives and detailed budgets
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior staff on grant development best practices
- Analyze funding trends and diversify revenue streams
- Collaborate with program directors to design fundable projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of successful grant writing experience
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ grants
- Expert knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and nonprofit compliance
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Blackbaud)
- Strong analytical and budget development capabilities
- Portfolio of funded grants required
