Responsibilities
- Research and identify new funding opportunities aligned with Cincinnati Foundation's strategic priorities
- Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities
- Manage grant reporting requirements and steward relationships with funders
- Collaborate with program teams to develop funding strategies and budgets
- Maintain accurate grant pipeline tracking in Salesforce CRM
- Train program staff on grant writing best practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $1M+ secured annually
- Proven success securing grants from diverse funding sources (private, corporate, government)
- Expertise in developing program budgets and narrative justifications
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or CRM systems
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Deep understanding of Cincinnati's nonprofit landscape
