- Research and identify federal, state, and private grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals with compelling narratives and detailed budgets
- Manage relationships with program staff to gather project data and impact metrics
- Prepare grant applications, reports, and compliance documentation
- Analyze funding trends and maintain competitive intelligence
- Collaborate with finance team on budget development and reporting
- Submit 5-7 high-quality applications monthly
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional grant writing experience with 80%+ success rate
- Proven track record securing $500K+ annually in grant funding
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, English, or related field
- Expertise with federal (SAM.gov), state, and foundation applications
- Exceptional writing skills with portfolio of funded proposals
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Instrumentl)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and impact measurement
