Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, reports, and supporting documentation
- Build and maintain relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant application processes including budgets, timelines, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data and impact metrics
- Provide grant writing training and mentorship to team members
- Track funding trends and maintain accurate grant databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, English)
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $1M+ secured annually
- Proven success with federal, foundation, and corporate grant applications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and program evaluation
- Experience with CRM and grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, GrantHub)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Deep knowledge of Fort Worth's nonprofit landscape and community needs
