Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, corporate, and private foundations
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Collaborate with program teams to gather project information and impact data
- Maintain accurate grant tracking database and reporting calendars
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven success securing $1M+
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and budget development
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and grant management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Portfolio of successful grant proposals required
