Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission and strategic goals
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential funding partners
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and success stories
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations for growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, English) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years professional grant writing experience with documented success in securing $500K+ annually
- Proven ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
- Expertise with federal, state, and foundation grant processes
- Exceptional research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
