Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications with 95%+ success rate
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant reporting compliance and stewardship activities
- Collaborate with program teams to translate impact data into fundable narratives
- Maintain accurate grant pipeline tracking using Salesforce CRM
- Lead grant strategy sessions for new health initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years grant writing experience with $50M+ secured
- Proven success with federal/state grants (HRSA, SAMHSA)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio samples
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance
- Certificate in Grant Writing (GPC preferred)
- Experience with health-focused nonprofits highly valued
