Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and foundation representatives
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices
- Analyze funding trends to inform strategic planning
- Collaborate with program directors to develop impact narratives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven $1M+ funding success
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Expertise in federal (SAM.gov), state, and private foundation applications
- Exceptional analytical, storytelling, and persuasive communication skills
- Proficiency with grant management systems (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful grant outcomes
- Knowledge of Tulsa's philanthropic landscape
- Certified Grant Professional (CGP) designation
