Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Enforce security policies and compliance frameworks, including NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP.
- Manage and troubleshoot Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Okta and Active Directory.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate with federal stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed security reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory compliance.
- Provide security awareness training and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security within a federal or defense contracting environment.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
