Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough system analysis to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for state projects.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex information systems, ensuring alignment with state standards and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and stakeholders, to drive project milestones and deliverables.
- Perform root cause analysis for system issues and develop long-term solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party software integrations to ensure compliance and performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, processes, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Software Development, or IT Project Management.
- Experience working within the public sector or government environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, C#, or Python.
- Knowledge of federal and state compliance standards (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
