Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, including C&A (Authorization and Accreditation) activities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate potential threats.
- Monitor security logs and systems to ensure compliance with NISPOM and DoD directives.
- Coordinate with system owners, ISSM, and auditors to maintain continuous system authorization.
- Develop and maintain Security Plans and System Security Authorization Packages (SSAP).
- Implement and enforce information security policies and procedures across assigned systems.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in accordance with incident response plans.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent military/technical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Systems Security (ISS) within a federal or defense environment.
- Experience with NISPOM, DIACAP, or DCID 6/3 regulations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
