Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and deployment of enterprise-level software solutions within the San Francisco government infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and develop scalable system solutions.
- Conduct system performance tuning, security audits, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party software implementation projects.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance on best practices for software development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government IT standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or network administration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of IT security protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
