Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA).
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions on strict deadlines.
- Conduct regular system audits, security assessments, and performance tuning.
- Train junior staff and provide technical guidance on system architecture.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNP are highly preferred.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Strong proficiency in network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and data security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
