Responsibilities

- Optimize Performance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and security of existing applications and databases.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government officials and department heads to translate technical requirements into functional specifications.
- Project Management: Oversee IT projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Enforce federal and state security protocols to protect sensitive citizen data.
- Tech Stack Management: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in software development, systems analysis, or IT management within the public sector or a large enterprise.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and SQL databases is required.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple competing priorities.
