Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure and software solutions to support state agencies.
- Lead and manage critical technology projects from conception through deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of all data systems in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting, guidance, and mentorship to junior IT staff and stakeholders.
- Conduct system audits and performance analysis to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or software development.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug screening.
