Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the agency's network infrastructure and hardware systems.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across multiple departments.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, including NIST and FISMA regulations.
- Manage system upgrades and patch management to maintain optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex IT issues efficiently.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering within a government or corporate environment.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is required; CISSP preferred.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and cloud-based solutions (Azure/AWS).
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and disaster recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
