Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain federal IT systems to ensure 99.9% uptime and compliance with federal standards.
- Security Compliance: Implement and adhere to strict security protocols (NIST/FISMA) to protect sensitive government data.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and solutions to federal staff regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, system logs, and incident reports in compliance with agency policies.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new federal technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred; familiarity with federal compliance standards is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in federal or state-level IT support or systems administration.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance (or Public Trust clearance) is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
