Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud solutions.
- Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive government data and network systems.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support to internal government departments.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the deployment of new hardware and software.
- Develop and document IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state standards.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential outages or vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or PMP are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering within a corporate or government environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines for government projects.
