Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure and server environments.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of high-level technical issues and system outages.
- Manage and secure sensitive county data in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance optimization to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior IT staff on best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking, VMware virtualization, and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and cybersecurity protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
