Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of secure federal IT infrastructure projects
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on agency networks
- Manage cross-functional teams of IT professionals and contractors
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate with DHS leadership on strategic technology initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls framework
- Experience with cloud migration (AWS/Azure/GCP) in federal environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Secret clearance
- Proven track record of managing IT budgets over $500K
