Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of federal IT infrastructure and networks.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data in compliance with FISMA standards.
- Lead technical teams in troubleshooting complex system issues and optimizing performance.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to define technical requirements and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure operational continuity.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of hardware and software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or systems administration within the federal sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations, including the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
