Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network security protocols to protect DoD systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical infrastructure
- Monitor security incidents using SIEM tools and develop mitigation strategies
- Lead incident response coordination during cybersecurity emergencies
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture projects
- Stay current with emerging threats and technologies through continuous training
Qualifications
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with DoD or federal experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (CompTIA)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with NIST frameworks and DoD security policies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- US citizenship required
