Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of federal IT systems and networks.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response for federal data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and integrate IT solutions that meet federal compliance standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to NIST security frameworks and agency-specific policies.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Manage hardware and software inventory within the federal asset management system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration within the Federal sector.
- Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain) is required.
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
