Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of federal IT systems and networks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments and ensure strict compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FISMA) and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships and oversee IT service delivery contracts to meet agency milestones.
- Respond to system outages and perform high-level troubleshooting in complex, high-availability environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT support.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance preferred; willingness to obtain is required.
- Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
