Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex information technology solutions that align with agency strategic goals.
- Lead system analysis and architecture planning for high-impact public sector projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including policy makers and IT stakeholders, to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy laws.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide expert consultation on software lifecycle management.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, software development, or project management.
- Experience working in the public sector or government contracting is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Deep understanding of database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance if required.
