Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Oversee system security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and drive project delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party IT service contracts.
- Train junior staff and conduct technical workshops to ensure knowledge sharing across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and SQL database management is highly preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various county sites as needed.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
