Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of global financial markets, asset classes, and investment strategies.
- Manage and monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and risk parameters.
- Prepare comprehensive investment reports and presentations for the Board of Administration and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with external investment managers and internal teams to optimize asset allocation.
- Identify emerging investment opportunities and assess their potential impact on the pension fund.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and internal investment policies.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or pension administration.
- Strong knowledge of government pension plans and actuarial science principles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and investment software (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Excel, SQL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
