Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including cloud networks, servers, and cybersecurity systems
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system optimization for 24/7 public service availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies with legacy state systems
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party technology contracts
- Develop and document technical standards, policies, and procedures for agency-wide compliance
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Ensure all systems meet federal and state security regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware), and network security
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proven experience with government IT compliance frameworks
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical documentation skills
- Must pass state background check and obtain required security clearances
