Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage project budgets, scope, and timelines to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, while implementing effective contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Communicate project status, updates, and roadblocks to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent PMP-equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing IT projects within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets and high-performance teams.
- New York State residency is required for this position.
