Responsibilities
- Lead Project Delivery: Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level stakeholders, providing regular status updates and strategic alignment.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior project managers and facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to achieve project goals.
- Agile Execution: Drive Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Retrospectives) and maintain backlog hygiene to ensure continuous delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team resources and coordinate with procurement to secure necessary vendors and tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience in the public sector or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, ServiceNow) and enterprise tools.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
