Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT project lifecycles from initiation to closure in a federal environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal compliance standards (FAR, DFARS) and government regulations.
- Manage cross-functional teams, external vendors, and subcontractors effectively.
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
- Communicate complex project status, risks, and deliverables to executive stakeholders.
- Implement Agile and Waterfall methodologies to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP or PgMP certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal government contracts and IT projects.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Strong proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, and Agile tools.
- Must reside in San Diego, CA or be willing to commute.
