Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure in a government environment.
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders across city departments.
- Ensure all projects adhere to strict government compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, SOX).
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Report project status, milestones, and variances to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT Project Management within the public sector or large enterprise.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with government procurement processes is a plus.
