Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects from initiation through closure, adhering to PMI and Agile methodologies.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure delivery within scope and cost constraints.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership to align project goals with government objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including OMB guidelines.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contract management for third-party IT services.
- Conduct regular status meetings, sprint reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing IT projects within the Federal, State, or Local government sector.
- Proven experience with agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional waterfall methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
