Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise networks, servers, and cloud infrastructure supporting 20+ city departments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Lead digital transformation projects including IoT deployments for smart city initiatives
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for critical municipal systems (911 dispatch, public health portals)
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly business continuity tests
- Train city staff on new technology implementations and security best practices
- Collaborate with vendors for system integration and compliance (HIPAA, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years enterprise IT experience with government/public sector background
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Expertise in Azure/AWS, Cisco networking, and Windows Server administration
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP)
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Ohio residency required within 6 months of hire
