Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administration and maintenance of federal IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Implement and monitor advanced security protocols to ensure strict compliance with NIST and OMB standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and direct support to agency stakeholders and federal employees.
- Lead incident response teams to rapidly mitigate cyber threats and data breaches.
- Conduct regular system audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scanning to maintain operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one prior to start).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in federal or defense contracting IT environments.
- Proficiency in network administration, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
