Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the county’s network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and servers.
- Provide expert-level technical support for internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Lead IT projects, including hardware upgrades and software deployments.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal performance of third-party services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
