Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Oversee cloud infrastructure deployments on Azure and hybrid cloud solutions
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for state agency IT systems
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with state IT policies
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Mentor junior IT staff and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience acceptable)
- CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- Minimum 5 years administering Windows Server 2016/2019
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and state compliance standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
