Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Enforce strict security protocols and compliance standards to safeguard sensitive government data against cyber threats.
- Lead the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery drills.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing Tier 3 support for critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to optimize IT workflows and enhance user experience.
- Conduct regular audits of hardware inventory, software licenses, and system performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration within a large-scale enterprise or government environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
