Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms with a focus on security compliance
- Implement disaster recovery solutions and ensure 99.9% system uptime
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex enterprise systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless IT project execution
- Document system architectures and maintain operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted in lieu)
- CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Azure Administrator certifications required
- Minimum 5 years administering enterprise Windows Server environments
- Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS) and firewalls
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Strong background in FISMA compliance and federal security standards
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
- Nevada state residency required at time of hire
