Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization environments, and network systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for federal clients with a focus on security compliance.
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement proactive measures to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT solutions that align with agency requirements and compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent military or technical experience.
- Certifications: Active Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred) or willingness to obtain. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
