Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead complex IT projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and design scalable business solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local government IT regulations, security standards, and accessibility laws.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and mentorship to junior IT staff and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular system audits, security assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT system administration or software development.
- Proven experience managing IT projects within the government or public sector environment.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and database management (SQL).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to obtain a State of Massachusetts background check and required security clearance.
