Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and integration.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex government applications using Java, SQL, and cloud technologies.
- Ensure system security, compliance with federal and state regulations, and data integrity across all platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality IT solutions on time.
- Perform system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and provide technical support to end-users.
- Document technical processes and create user manuals for operational staff.
- Lead technical assessments and recommend upgrades to legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, specifically within the public sector or government contracting.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, and database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with government compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
